Carbon Emission and SBEM evaluation

Part L Compliance & BREEAM Assessment

Hirst and Danson can provide thermal/energy modeling of buildings and design solutions to achieve Building Regulation Part L compliance. We have an in depth understanding of the SBEM calculation methods and can advise on the most cost effective means of reducing the Building Carbon Emmission below the target levels required by the regulations.

Similarly we have a wealth of experience in BREEAM assessment and will advise on which points criteria can be most easily met and how improvements can be practically and effectively implemented to achieve a ‘VERY GOOD’ or ‘EXCELLENT’ Rating.

As the company has grown it has maintained an unsurpassed level of quality with its clients due to the philosophy of the staff at all levels within the organisation.

Hirst & Danson operates within tried and tested operational procedures to deliver a consistent approach and quality across our projects.

Company Resources

The company maintains significant levels of staff at all positions within the organisation to enable it to provide the response required in today’s environment.

The staff encompasses:

Design Engineers, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Foreman, Fitters, Plumbers, Electricians, Trainees and assistants all of which are supported by the management and administrative staff.

In addition to the above an up to date register is held of approved and vetted engineers should the need arise to provide additional duties at short notice, enabling the organisation to respond effectively to demands in the market place.

Our Staff and Fleet

Approximately 100 staff all of whom are directly employed, support the company.

To enable our staff to respond to fluctuations in work and its location a fleet of company vehicles is maintained, keeping the workforce mobile to meet our client needs and deadlines.
